Arrests Made in Boston Hotel Escort Robbery

BOSTON, MA – At 7:22 PM on Thursday, Boston Police from the South End)apprehended Robert Santana, 28, from Lawrence, and Danine Simpson, 27, from Bronx. The arrests followed a reported robbery at 40 Dalton Street.

Officers were informed that a man visiting a 23rd-floor hotel room for a sexual encounter was threatened with a knife by Simpson, resulting in a robbery of about $200.

Santana, also present in the room, was apprehended in the hallway while trying to flee.

A pat frisk revealed a Glock 43X firearm with ammunition and approximately $12,363 in cash on Santana.

Santana faces charges of unlawful possession of a firearm, ammunition, and a large capacity feeding device, with an arraignment scheduled at Boston Municipal Court.
