LANCASTER, PA – George Ditzler III, wanted in Oregon for Criminal Attempt-Homicide, was apprehended in Lancaster City on Friday.

The Susquehanna Regional Police Department, in collaboration with Washington County, OR authorities, led to his arrest.

Lancaster City Bureau of Police Platoon C and Detectives successfully located Ditzler at a family residence on the 400 block of W. Vine St.

After a 25-minute phone negotiation led by Det. Sgt. Ginder, Ditzler surrendered peacefully. He was then transported to the Lancaster City Bureau of Police station.
