WHITEHOUSE STATION, NJ – Kyle J. Andrews, 30, from Whitehouse Station, New Jersey, was arrested on charges related to the distribution and possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), announced Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée M. Robeson.

The arrest followed a joint investigation involving the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office (HCPO), Warren County Prosecutor’s Office (WCPO), and Front Royal Police Department in Virginia. The investigation began after WCPO received a referral from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), which was then forwarded to HCPO.

HCPO’s Forensic Services Unit led the investigation, which uncovered Andrews’ online activities, including solicitation of minors for sexual purposes and distribution of CSAM. The Warren County Prosecutor’s Office assisted in the investigation into Andrews’ possession and distribution of these materials.

On December 21, at around 5 AM, authorities executed a court-authorized search warrant at Andrews’ residence in Whitehouse Station and another location in Phillipsburg. The Front Royal Police Department collaborated with local authorities, including Readington Township and Phillipsburg Police Departments, in the operation. Electronic devices and computer equipment were seized from both locations.

Andrews faces charges of Distribution of CSAM, a second-degree crime, and Possession of CSAM, a third-degree crime, under New Jersey law. The charges could lead to imprisonment and substantial fines. Additionally, the Front Royal Police Department charged Andrews with Virginia offenses, including use of communication systems for child exploitation and possession and distribution of child [censored]ography.

Currently, Andrews is detained at the Warren County Correctional Center, awaiting a detention motion by the State. He has waived extradition to Virginia.
