Bronx Man Shot in Moped Drive-By Shooting

BRONX, NY – A shooting incident involving mopeds occurred in the Bronx, leaving a 24-year-old man injured. The New York City Police Department is investigating the attack that took place at the intersection of University Avenue and West Kingsbridge Road.

On Thursday, December 21, at around 12:40 PM, the victim was approached by three unidentified individuals riding on two mopeds. One of the assailants fired a gun, hitting the man in his left arm. Following the shooting, the suspects fled the scene, heading eastbound on West Kingsbridge Road.

Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he is reported to be in stable condition. The NYPD is actively searching for the suspects and requests the public’s assistance in providing any information related to the incident.
