Cash Registers Stolen in D.C. Robbery, Suspects at Large


WASHINGTON, DC – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is actively seeking assistance from the public to identify two suspects involved in a robbery at a business located in the 2500 block of Benning Road in Northeast D.C.

The robbery occurred on Sunday evening, around 8:02 p.m. According to the reports, the suspects entered the business, confronted an employee, and took two cash registers containing money forcibly. Following the robbery, they fled the scene.

Surveillance cameras in the area captured images of the suspects, which are now being used in the investigation.

The police are urging anyone who can identify these individuals or has any information regarding the incident to come forward. However, the public is advised not to approach the suspects but to immediately contact the police at (202) 727-9099.
