Ohio Police Offer Reward for Fugitive Wanted for Violent Attack Against Woman

AKRON, OH – The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is currently offering a reward for information that leads to the arrest of fugitive Nicholas Snyder. Snyder is sought by the Akron Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service for burglary and by the Summit County Sheriff’s Office for felonious assault.

The incident leading to Snyder’s warrant occurred on October 22, 2022. Snyder allegedly assaulted a female on Lakeshore Boulevard in Akron and subsequently broke into her residence, stealing a firearm.

Snyder, 32, is a white male, 6 feet 2 inches tall, and weighs approximately 280 pounds. He is known to frequent areas in Akron, Wadsworth, and Barberton.

Authorities urge anyone with information regarding Nicholas Snyder’s whereabouts to contact the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force at 1-866-4WANTED.
