Disabled Teen Attacked by Mob, Had His Shoes Stolen

COLUMBUS, OH – On December 8, at around 6:45 PM, a violent incident involving teenagers took place at a business on the 1300 block of Briarwood Ave, Columbus. Three teenagers physically assaulted an individual in an attempt to steal their shoes.

During the assault, a female teenager reportedly encouraged the attackers. The situation escalated when the victim’s brother, who is a person with a disability, tried to intervene. He was then attacked by the group, sustaining punches and kicks to the face, leading to a seizure.

Both victims suffered multiple injuries and were subsequently treated at a local hospital. The perpetrators managed to flee on foot with the victim’s shoes and phone.
