WHIPPANY, NJ – Morris County Prosecutor Robert Carroll, Chief of Detectives Robert McNally, and Hanover Township Police Chief Michael Loock have announced a first-degree Strict Liability for Drug-Induced Death charge against Anthony Q. Dello-Russo, 26, of Cedar Knolls, Hanover, New Jersey. This charge is linked to a fatal drug overdose in Whippany, Hanover, in February 2023.

On February 16, 2023, authorities responded to a residence in Whippany following reports of an unconscious male. The victim, identified as T.H., 28, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Morris County Medical Examiner’s Office attributed T.H.’s death to the combined toxicity of cocaine, fentanyl, and acetyl fentanyl.

Investigations allege that Dello-Russo distributed controlled substances to T.H. on February 15, 2023, in Hanover. The substances provided by Dello-Russo are believed to have led to T.H.’s death. The case continues to be investigated by local authorities.
