Armed Robbery at Jessup Post Office, Suspect at Large

JESSUP, MD – An armed robbery occurred at the Jessup Post Office located at 2851 Jessup Road in Jessup on December 28th, at around 9:30 a.m. The suspect, a black male in his mid-thirties, implied he had a firearm and demanded money from the employees.

During the incident, the suspect did not display a firearm but successfully obtained money and fled on foot. He is described as having a medium build, approximately 6’0” tall, and was last seen wearing a black hooded Adidas shirt, dark gray pants, and tan shoes.

The case is now under the jurisdiction of the US Postal Inspection Service. They are actively investigating the robbery and seeking information that could lead to the suspect’s apprehension.
