Cat with Head Stuck in Jar Rescued in New Jersey on Christmas Day

IRVINGTON, NJ – In a heartwarming incident on Christmas Day, Irvington, Essex County residents came together to save the life of a cat in distress. The cat was spotted with a jar stuck on its head, rendering it unable to eat, drink, or breathe properly.

Despite initial attempts, locals were unable to capture the feline. However, the community’s persistence paid off when the cat was spotted again on Monday. An animal rescue worker approached the cat from behind and safely captured it. The rescuer successfully removed the jar, freeing the cat from its predicament.

The cat was scanned for a microchip to be reunited with its owner. Its current situation is unknown at this time.
