Double Stabbing Incident in Queens Leaves One Dead, Another Critically Injured

QUEENS, NY – In the early hours of January 1, police responded to a distressing scene at the intersection of 76 Street and Roosevelt Avenue, following a report of a stabbing. Two individuals were grievously injured in the incident, which occurred around 3:58 AM in the NYPD’s 110 Precinct’s patrol area.

Upon arrival, authorities discovered a 30-year-old male suffering from stab wounds to the chest and face, alongside a 29-year-old male with a leg injury. The older victim was promptly transported to NYC Health + Hospitals Elmhurst in a critical state. Tragically, the younger victim succumbed to his injuries at the same hospital.

The deceased has been identified as Tsering Wangdu, a 29-year-old resident of 30-42 81 Street, Queens.

No arrests have been made so far,
