Gunfire Wounds Teenager on West 62nd Street

NEW YORK, NY – Police received reports on Thursday, December 21, at about 7:20 PM, of a shooting in front of 217 West 62 Street. Three unidentified suspects confronted a 15-year-old boy.

One suspect brandished a firearm and fired at the teenager, hitting him in the shoulder and torso. Following the attack, the assailants fled in an unknown direction.

Emergency Medical Services arrived at the scene and transported the victim to New York Hospital Cornell Medical Center. He is currently in critical but stable condition. Investigations into the incident are ongoing, and authorities have not yet identified the suspects.
