Hanover Police Investigating Early Morning Robbery at Citgo

HANOVER, MD – On January 3, 2024, at approximately 5:30 a.m., Hanover police officers were called to the Citgo gas station at 7500 Ridge Road following a report of a robbery. According to the investigation, two Black males entered the premises, brandished a handgun, and demanded the clerk to open the cash register.

The clerk, complying with the demands, allowed the suspects to take an undisclosed amount of currency from the register. Following the robbery, the suspects fled the scene on foot. The Hanover Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division is actively investigating the incident.
