Teen Caught With Gun at Pennsylvania Elementary School

LOCK HAVEN, PA – Demario Baer, a 19-year-old resident of Lock Haven, faces several charges including Terroristic Threats, Possession of a Weapon on School Property, Possessing Instruments of Crime, and Disorderly Conduct.

On Thursday, officers of the Lock Haven Police Department were dispatched around 2:10 pm to Robb Elementary School following reports of a suspicious male, possibly armed, near the school premises.

Upon arrival, law enforcement secured the area while the school implemented a lockdown protocol.

Collaboration with school administrators led to the acquisition of video evidence, which showed an individual, later identified as Baer, pointing what seemed to be a handgun while walking in front of the school.

Baer was apprehended in the vicinity. During the investigation, a black CO2 powered BB gun, owned by Baer, was recovered. He subsequently admitted to the actions described in the video during an interview. Baer is currently held at the Clinton County Correctional Facility, with bail set at $200,000.
