Traffic Alert: Crash Disables Signal Lights at Kings Highway and I-75 in Charlotte County

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, FL – Deputies from the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office are currently managing a crash scene at the intersection of Kings Highway and the I-75 northbound exit ramp. The collision has resulted in the disablement of traffic signal lights at this location.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible. In accordance with traffic regulations, drivers are reminded to treat any disabled traffic signals as a stop sign. Florida Power & Light (FPL) and lighting crew members are en route to assess and address the situation at the intersection. The Sheriff’s Office is working to ensure safety and manage traffic flow around the crash site.
