Chambersburg Police Apprehend Suspect in Violent Assault and Robbery

CHAMBERSBURG, PA – The Chambersburg Police Department has made an arrest in a case of aggravated assault and robbery.

On Wednesday, Angel Ruben Perez-Rodriguez was taken into custody.

The incident, which occurred on December 24, involved Perez-Rodriguez and a co-defendant assaulting a victim with a metal object, causing severe injuries. Following the attack, the victim’s phone was stolen.

Perez-Rodriguez faces charges of robbery and aggravated assault.

The Chambersburg Police Department is still seeking information on this case and asks anyone with knowledge of Perez-Rodriguez’s whereabouts prior to his arrest to contact them or leave a tip on Crime Watch.
