PHILADELPHIA, PA – In a deeply disturbing case, Philadelphia residents Dominique Bailey, 28, and her boyfriend, Kevin Spencer, 30, face multiple charges in the disappearance and presumed death of Bailey’s 4-year-old son, Damari Carter.

Bailey is charged with murder, endangering the welfare of a child, filing a false report, and abuse of a corpse. Spencer faces similar charges in connection with the boy’s death. The Philadelphia Police Department has not yet located Damari’s body nor suggested a definitive cause of death. However, sources speaking to local ABC affiliate WPVI indicate that investigators believe the child was fatally beaten.

Damari was last seen on November 25, and the circumstances surrounding his disappearance have left the family and community in anguish. Nakia Bailey, the child’s aunt, expressed her heartbreak to WPVI, lamenting the lack of closure due to the uncertainty of Damari’s whereabouts and the alleged involvement of his mother.
