WILDWOOD CREST, NJ – On December 21, 2023, at around 5:23 PM, a coordinated operation involving the Wildwood Crest Police Department, Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office Gangs, Guns, and Narcotics Task Force, and the Cape May County Regional SWAT Team, led to a search warrant execution on New Jersey Ave in Wildwood Crest.
During the operation, four individuals were found in the apartment, including Mr. Vesper and Ms. Saffold, who were taken into custody. The search, aided by Wildwood Crest Police K9 Officers, uncovered methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, distribution amounts of Percocet, and a significant sum of money.
Ms. Saffold faces charges including possession and distribution of prescription drugs, possession of CDS (Controlled Dangerous Substances), and money laundering. She was released on a summons. Mr. Vesper was charged with possession of CDS, intent to distribute CDS, conspiracy, and possession of CDS paraphernalia. He was detained at the Cape May County Correctional Center. The other two individuals present were released without charges.
