AUSTIN, TX – A Katy resident, choosing to remain anonymous, has claimed a $2 million Powerball prize from the drawing on December 27. The ticket was purchased at Timewise Food Store #295 in Katy.

The winning Quick Pick ticket successfully matched all five white ball numbers (4-11-38-51-68), missing only the red Powerball number (1). With the Power Play number being 5, the prize was significantly increased.

The store, located at 23903 Katy Freeway at I-10 Ernestes Road, sold the lucky ticket. The winner’s decision to stay anonymous adds a layer of privacy to their newfound fortune.
