Columbus Police Seeking Man Wanted for Robbery And Assault

COLUMBUS, OH – An adult was assaulted and robbed on December 17, 2023, in the vicinity of W. Broad St and Baskss Ave in Columbus.

The suspect, who fled on foot post-incident, is described as a black male, aged between 25-30, about 5’10”, weighing approximately 170-180 pounds.

He was seen wearing a tan jacket, dark hoodie, white shirt, black jogging pants with white stripes, and black shoes.

Surveillance footage captured the suspect and victim entering and exiting a nearby convenience store before the robbery.

The Columbus Police Robbery Unit is conducting the investigation and asks for any information regarding the incident. Anonymous tips can be submitted to Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-TIPS (8477).
