Maryland Lottery Awards Over $36.7 Million in Prizes, Including Two Millionaires

LANHAM, MARYLAND – Two Maryland Lottery players have become millionaires, with one winning a $2 million scratch-off prize in Frederick and another landing a $1 million Powerball jackpot in Hyattsville. Additionally, three players in Easton, Grantsville, and Lanham have won prizes of $100,000 or more.

During the week ending January 7, a total of 33 Maryland Lottery players claimed prizes exceeding $10,000. The combined winnings for this period amounted to over $36.7 million. These significant wins reflect the Maryland Lottery’s continued popularity and the substantial prizes it offers to players across the state.
