Utility Pole Blocks Arbour Drive in Newark, Disrupting Traffic

NEWARK, DE – A fallen utility pole has led to the closure of Arbour Drive, just north of West Chestnut Hill Road, as reported by Lt Andrew Rubin. The incident, which occurred today, is currently blocking both entry and exit to the Arbour Park neighborhood.

City of Newark electric crews are actively working to remove the pole and restore access. However, there is no estimated timeframe for when the road will be cleared.

Residents and commuters in the area are advised to find alternative routes until further notice.
