Drug Deal Leads to Gun and Drug Seizure in Atlantic City

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – A drug transaction observed by the Atlantic City Police Department resulted in the arrest of two men, Samad Dudley and Najee Roberts.

Detectives Alberto Valles, Eric Evans, and Troy Grams, while on duty on Tuesday, noticed Roberts conducting a drug sale from his vehicle.

Post-transaction, a vehicle stop led to the discovery of Dudley’s possession of a loaded handgun and Roberts’ possession of marijuana and distribution paraphernalia.

Dudley, from Sickerville, NJ, faces multiple charges including unlawful possession of a weapon. Roberts, from Ewing, NJ, was charged with possession of controlled substances with intent to distribute.

While Dudley was remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility, Roberts was released on a summons.
