36-Year-Old Arrested for Breaking Into, Robbing NYC Church

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York Police Department announced the arrest of Johnathan Delvalle, a 36-year-old undomiciled male, on January 4. He faces charges of Attempted Burglary.

It was reported that on January 3, an unidentified individual forcibly entered a church (Place of Worship Church of God) through a basement door.

The perpetrator removed a safe containing business documents and other items, then fled on a moped. Delvalle was arrested at 4:30 PM.

The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in further identifying the whereabouts of the individual involved.
