MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD – The Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division is investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Shalla restaurant, located in the 8000 block of Sligo Avenue.
At approximately 12:20 a.m., officers responded to the scene.
Three masked men, two armed with firearms and one carrying a red bag, entered the restaurant demanding personal property from those inside.
The suspects fled towards Washington, D.C. with the stolen items.
A reward of up to $10,000 is offered for information leading to their arrest. Descriptions of the suspects have been released, and the public is asked to contact Crime Solvers of Montgomery County with any relevant information.
