Florida Deputy Rescues Injured Bobcat

LEE COUNTY, FL – A Lee County Sheriff’s deputy on patrol encountered and rescued an injured bobcat, subsequently transporting the animal to a local veterinary hospital for care.

The incident, occurring in Precinct 4, was documented through photos shared by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, showing the deputy lifting and placing the bobcat into his patrol car.

Upon discovering the injured wild animal, the deputy transported it to Blue Pearl Animal Hospital. The sheriff’s office has reported that the bobcat is expected to fully recover and will be released back into the wild, ensuring the safety and well-being of both the animal and the community.
