Victims Forced Out of Car at Gunpoint in D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The D.C. Metro Police Department’s Carjacking Task Force is actively seeking assistance from the public to identify two individuals involved in an armed carjacking incident.

The event occurred early on Wednesday, around 5:00 a.m., in the 4100 block of Hunt Place in Northeast, D.C. According to reports, the suspects confronted the victims, with one of the suspects brandishing a handgun. The victims were forced to surrender their car keys and exit the vehicle, after which the suspects fled in the stolen car.

The incident was captured on nearby surveillance cameras, providing visual evidence of the suspects. The D.C. Metro Police Department is urging anyone with information or the ability to identify these suspects to contact them at (202) 727-9099. Additionally, tips can be sent anonymously via the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.
