ELLENDALE, DE — The Delaware State Police are currently investigating a shooting incident that took place on Sunday night in an Ellendale neighborhood. The event occurred on January 14, 2024, at around 10:18 p.m.
Authorities were called to a residence on Candy Lane following reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, troopers found the home had been struck multiple times. Numerous shell casings were recovered at the scene, indicating the severity of the incident.
At the time of the shooting, two adults were inside the residence. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported. The motive for the shooting is still unknown, and as of now, there is no description of a suspect available.
The Delaware State Police are actively conducting an investigation into this shooting.
