D.C. Teen Robbery Suspect Arrest

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A teenage suspect has been arrested by the D.C. Metro Police Department’s Fifth District for a robbery that took place in Northeast D.C. in late November.

The incident occurred on November 23rd, around 11:08 a.m. near the intersection of 18th Street and Otis Street. The victim was walking in the area when the suspect, approaching from behind, threatened him by claiming to have a gun. The suspect then demanded the victim’s belongings. After the victim complied, the suspect quickly left the scene.

The suspect, a 16-year-old male from Northwest D.C., was apprehended on Sunday, following a custody order issued by the DC Superior Court. He has been charged with robbery.
