In Rossford, OH, a local resident named Gerald has won $25,000 in the Pick 5 lottery. Gerald’s success came from a simple 50-cent straight bet on the numbers 3-1-5-5-6 for the drawing on September 22.

After deductions for mandatory state and federal taxes, which total 28 percent, Gerald is set to receive $18,000.

His winning ticket was purchased at Rossford Carryout, located in Rossford.

Pick 5 is a popular daily draw game in Ohio, with two drawings each day at 12:29 pm and 7:29 pm.
