Armed Robbery at Charlie Ward’s in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, MD – An armed robbery occurred at Charlie Ward’s, located at 5607 4th Street, Brooklyn, on Wednesday.

The incident took place around 6:00 p.m., when a suspect entered the store, brandished a handgun at the clerk, and took an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency from the register.

The suspect, described as a black male with brown eyes, wearing a blue face mask, black jacket, and plaid pants, fled the scene on foot.

Despite a search, officers were unable to locate the suspect.

The Criminal Investigations Division is handling the case and is asking to the public for any relevant information.
