Police Searching for Wheaton Apartment Burglary Suspect

WHEATON, MD – The Montgomery County Department of Police is actively investigating a residential burglary that took place on Sunday, January 14.

The crime occurred in the 11200 block of Georgia Avenue, Wheaton.

Around 5 a.m., officers responded to the burglary report. Surveillance footage shows the suspect, described as a Hispanic male aged 18 to 20, entering the apartment and stealing various items, including government property.

The homeowner witnessed the suspect’s departure. The police have released surveillance images of the suspect and are seeking public assistance to identify him.

The suspect was last seen wearing a black beanie, a green and black patterned windbreaker, Nike sweatpants, and slides.
