Armed Robbery and Assault Reported in Annapolis

A violent armed robbery occurred in the unit block of Monument Street in Annapolis on January 20, 2024. The incident, reported at approximately 1:17 PM, prompted an immediate response from local law enforcement.

The victim, who was assaulted and robbed inside a residence, recounted being struck in the upper torso with a handgun. Additionally, the assailants kicked and punched him multiple times. The suspects then fled the scene after taking personal property from the victim.

In search of help, the victim managed to escape to a nearby residence. The police are actively investigating the incident and have not released further details about the suspects or the stolen items.

The case remains open, and authorities are seeking information from the public to aid in their investigation.
