Cumberland City Police Blotter: Here’s What’s Happening

CUMBERLAND, MD – On Thursday, the Cumberland City Police made several arrests for various violations.

Kevin William Page Sr, 59, of Cumberland, was apprehended on a Bench Warrant from the Allegany County District Court, dated January 10.

The warrant was issued for failing to comply with a court order related to an assault charge. Page was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center without bond.

On the same day, Chandler Tyler Thornton, 27, also of Cumberland, was arrested for violating the terms of his probation. The Bench Warrant, issued by the Allegany County Circuit Court on January 2, was related to a previous conviction for illegal firearms possession.

Thornton was taken for his Initial Appearance before a District Court Commissioner and was subsequently remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center without bond.
