Cumberland Police Serve Criminal Summons for Theft

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, NJ = The Cumberland Police Department issued a criminal summons to 64-year-old Guan Yan Sen of Flushing, NY, yesterday.. This action follows an investigation into a theft reported on November 27, 2023.

The incident occurred in the 200 block of Race Street, where the victim reported unauthorized cashing of checks totaling $4,000 from her purse. Following an investigation, the Cumberland Police filed charges against Sen at the District Court of Allegany County.

Guan Yan Sen faces charges of theft in the range of $1,500 to under $25,000. He signed for his copy of the summons and was released pending trial.
