Shooting in the Bronx Leaves One Injured

A shooting incident on Monday, January 8, in the Bronx resulted in one person being injured. The event took place around 9:48 PM at the intersection of East 233 Street and Baychester Avenue. According to police reports, the victim was approached by two unidentified individuals who shot him once in the right arm before fleeing the scene on foot.

The victim sustained minor injuries and was subsequently transported to Montefiore Medical Center in stable condition by private means.

The New York City Police Department has released descriptions of the suspects. The first individual is described as a male with a dark complexion and medium build, last seen wearing a black hooded sweater, black pants, black sneakers, and a black facemask. The second suspect, also a male with a dark complexion and medium build, was wearing a black jacket, black pants, and white sneakers.

Authorities are actively seeking information from the public to assist in identifying and apprehending the suspects.
