Cherry Hill Firefighters Respond to 2-Alarm Fire in Haddonfield

HADDONFIELD, N.J. – In the early hours of Monday, January 22, 2024, Cherry Hill Professional Firefighters from Ladder 1324, B-Platoon, were the first responders to a dwelling fire in Haddonfield. The incident, which escalated to a 2-alarm fire, saw additional units, including Squad 13 and Safety 13, rushing to the scene.

Upon arrival, the firefighters from Ladder 1324 immediately engaged in firefighting efforts. The rapid response and coordinated efforts of the various units played a crucial role in addressing the blaze. The fire, which had the potential to cause significant damage and risk to life, was efficiently managed due to the swift action of the responding teams.

Squad 13 and Safety 13, responding as part of the automatic aid agreement, provided essential support in controlling and eventually extinguishing the fire. The teamwork and professionalism of all units involved were instrumental in preventing the spread of the fire to neighboring properties and minimizing damage.
