Man Fatally Shot in Brooklyn, Investigation Underway

On Monday, January 22, at 10:25 AM, police responded to a shooting near Ralph Avenue and Sutter Avenue in Brooklyn’s 73rd Precinct following a 911 call. Officers found a 36-year-old man with a gunshot wound in the abdomen area.

The victim was transported to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center by EMS, where he was pronounced dead. The identity of the deceased has not been released, pending notification of the family.

No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting. Police are conducting an ongoing investigation into the incident. Further details will be provided as they become available.
