Suspect Arrested in Recent Dundalk Shooting Incident

The Baltimore County Police Department has reported the arrest of 27-year-old Akinola D. Longe following a shooting in Dundalk. The incident, which took place on January 21, 2024, resulted in the injury of a 40-year-old woman.

The shooting occurred just before 9:00 p.m. on Cornwall Road in Dundalk. Baltimore County officers, responding to the incident, found the female victim with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to her lower body. She was promptly transported to a local hospital where she remains in stable condition.

Longe is currently held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center. He faces several charges, including attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault, and various firearms-related offenses.
