Bronx Murder Suspect Nabbed by NYPD in Major Breakthrough

BRONX, NY – Following an extensive investigation, the New York Police Department announced the arrest of 33-year-old Dante Williamson on Wednesday.

Williamson, a resident of 2106 Honeywell Avenue, Bronx, faces charges including murder, criminal possession of a weapon, and reckless endangerment.

This arrest is linked to an incident that occurred on Sunday, November 19, 2023, at approximately 7:00 PM. Police responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting at the intersection of Morris Avenue and East 174th Street.

Upon arrival, officers found 28-year-old Courtney Howell, a resident of 745 St. Ouen Street, Bronx, with multiple gunshot wounds. Howell was transported to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

The investigation into this case is ongoing, and the NYPD asks anyone with information to come forward.
