Dorchester Man Arrested for Cocaine, Loaded Gun

BOSTON, MA – On Wednesday, at approximately 8:00 am, Christopher Boyer, 22, from Dorchester, was arrested on multiple firearm and drug charges.

The arrest followed the execution of search warrants by the Area C-6 Drug Control Unit, along with members from B-2 (Roxbury) and E-13 (Jamaica Plain) units.

Boyer was apprehended while leaving his residence, carrying a loaded Smith and Wesson 45 Caliber firearm and 10 grams of crack cocaine concealed in a false container.

Further searching his residence led to the discovery of additional drugs including cocaine, Adderall, Clonazepam, Fentanyl, and ammunition.

He faces charges for trafficking and possession with intent to distribute various classes of drugs, unlawful possession of a loaded firearm, and ammunition. Boyer is scheduled for arraignment in Dorchester District Court.
