Masked Suspect Robs Pizza Delivery Driver in Dover

DOVER, DE – The Delaware State Police are actively investigating an armed robbery incident targeting a pizza delivery driver.

The event occurred on Tuesday evening in the area of the 2000 block of General’s Way, Dover.

On Tuesday, Delaware State Police troopers were dispatched at approximately 7:46 p.m. following reports of the robbery. Upon arrival, the investigation unveiled that an unidentified male suspect, masked and armed, confronted the delivery driver demanding money.

The driver complied, and the suspect fled with an undisclosed sum. Despite a thorough search by the troopers, the suspect remains at large. He was last seen wearing a red sweatshirt, dark pants, and a mask.

The Delaware State Police Troop 3 Criminal Investigations Unit has taken charge of this case. Detectives are seeking information and ask anyone who can assist to contact Detective T.
