SPRING HILL, FL – On December 23, 2023, Hernando County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a residence on Copper Hill Drive in Spring Hill regarding the theft of a French bulldog named Kali. The dog, valued at $4,000, had escaped from her owner’s fenced-in backyard.

Investigation revealed that an Amazon driver, identified as Reinier Revilla, aged 34, was involved in the theft.

On January 16, detectives located and interviewed Revilla, who admitted to the theft and led them to Kali’s location. Kali was safely returned to her owner.

Revilla was subsequently charged with Grand Theft and turned himself in on January 19.
