CALVERT COUNTY, MD – On January 17, Calvert County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to an ATV accident in Owings.
Cpl. Bortchevsky attended the scene on Appaloosa Way, where an adult male was towing two juveniles on a sled behind an ATV.
The ATV, while moving in a circular pattern, accelerated and caused the sled to collide with a tree.
One juvenile sustained a minor head injury and was transported to Children’s Hospital for treatment.
No other injuries were reported in the incident.
