Brooklyn Stabbing Leads to Arrest and Murder Charge

Brooklyn, NY – Police responded to a 911 call on Wednesday at 11:03 PM, reporting a stabbing at 1373 Sterling Place in the 77th Precinct. Upon arrival, officers found a 37-year-old male with multiple stab wounds in the neck. The victim, identified as Barrington Howell of 1020 President Street, Brooklyn, was transported by EMS to NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County where he was pronounced deceased.

Jamel Miles, a 39-year-old resident of the incident location, has been arrested in connection with the crime. He faces charges of murder, robbery, and criminal possession of a weapon. The NYPD continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
