Montgomery County Crime Spree Ends with Arrest of 33-Year-Old Man

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD – Travis Jamal Isreal, 33, of Gaithersburg, was arrested by the Montgomery County Department of Police – 6th District Station for a series of crimes, including vehicle theft and multiple burglaries.

The incidents began on Wednesday, December 13th, when Isreal allegedly stole a 2019 Toyota Rav4 from a residence on Miller Fall Road in Rockville.

At around 6 p.m. on the same day, the victim located her Toyota in Gaithersburg and contacted the police. Upon arrival at the scene, officers located Isreal inside the stolen vehicle.

He attempted to flee but was apprehended. A search of the vehicle revealed items connecting Isreal to additional burglaries in various locations, including Calabar Drive and Tulip Drive.

Israel faces charges of auto theft, multiple burglary charges, and resisting arrest. He was transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit and is being held without bond.
