Suspect Caught in the Act During Attempted Home Invasion

HUNTINGTOWN, MD – On Tuesday, January 16, at 9:19 p.m., Deputy Sylver of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported burglary on the 100 block of Llewelyn Lane in Huntingtown.

The complainant reported an attempt by an unknown male to access the front and rear entrances of his residence.

During an on-site search, Deputy Sylver found a large knife on Cress.

Subsequently, Cress was transported to the Calvert County Detention Center, where he was charged with Fourth-Degree Burglary.
