Two Charged for Drug Overdose of Teen

Two sets of handcuffs.

COLLIER COUNTY, FL – Collier County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) detectives arrested Luigi Roca, 20, and Alexis Suarez, 19, on Thursday for their involvement in a non-fatal fentanyl overdose of a 15-year-old in November.

Sheriff Kevin Rambosk stated that these arrests underscore the CCSO’s commitment to combating illicit drug distribution, especially to minors.

The CCSO’s Vice & Narcotics Bureau investigation revealed that Roca and Suarez sold fentanyl-laced pills, disguised as Percocet, to the teen, resulting in an overdose.

The victim received emergency treatment and was released from an NCH Healthcare System emergency room.

Suarez was arrested at his residence, while Roca was apprehended in Naples jail, where he faced unrelated felony charges.
