40-Year-Old Shot on West Rockland Street in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA – In the early hours of Thursday, Philadelphia Police were called to Temple University Hospital following the arrival of a gunshot victim.

The incident, reported at approximately 1:40 a.m., took place on the 12XX block of West Rockland Street.

The victim, a 40-year-old black male, sustained a gunshot wound to his right arm.

His condition has been stabilized. The crime scene was secured, but no weapon was found, and no arrests have been made at this point.

The Shooting Investigation Group of the Philadelphia Police Department is actively investigating this incident.
