Delaware Man Arrested for First-Degree Murder of 55-Year-Old Woman

FELTON, DE – The Delaware State Police have apprehended Leon Reynolds, a 55-year-old resident of Felton, Delaware, on charges of first-degree murder.

On Friday, at about 6:21 a.m., troopers were dispatched to a residence on Andrews Lake Road, where they found Virginia Reynolds, aged 55, unresponsive with multiple injuries.

Despite life-saving efforts, she was declared dead at a local hospital.

Investigations led by the Delaware State Police Homicide Unit identified Leon Reynolds, the victim’s husband, as the suspect.

He was taken into custody and charged with first-degree murder. Reynolds is currently held at Sussex Correctional Institution on a $1,000,000 cash bond.
